Origin & Genetic Lineage
The Peruvian strain of Psilocybe cubensis is an in-house isolation from spores collected in the mountainous regions and rainforests of Peru—an area known for biodiversity and ancient plant medicine traditions. While not a hybrid, this lineage has been stabilized through cultivation, maintaining consistency and ease of use for microscopy and cultivation.

Appearance & Morphology
Caps range from tan to golden brown, conical when young and often flattening into wave-like forms with age. The stems are white to off-white, thick, fibrous, and show strong blue bruising when handled. Spores are dark purple-brown and typical of cubensis.

Peruvian is rated MILD on the Tanasi Potency Scale. While generally gentle, some flushes may approach moderate strength depending on conditions. Reported effects include introspective and dreamy visuals, calm euphoria, and a soothing body energy suitable for outdoor journeys or internal reflection.

Cultivation Notes
Colonizes at moderate to fast speed with aggressive rhizo networks. Performs well on BRF, CVG, and grain substrates. Prefers 70–75°F fruiting temps and 85–95% humidity. Known for reliable flushes and excellent canopy formation when dialed in.
