Casper – 10ML Syringe
Psilocybe cubensis | Leucistic MakShack × A.P.E. Hybrid

Potency: HIGH
Tanasi Potency Scale:
Mild: 0.1%–1.1%
High: 1.2%–2.0%
Extreme: 2.1%–3.0%

Origin & Genetic Lineage
Casper is a modern hybrid born from a cross between MakShack and Albino Penis Envy (A.P.E.). This pairing combines MakShack’s durability and morphology with A.P.E.’s slower fruiting, dense structure, and elevated potency traits. The result is a leucistic cubensis strain that expresses ghost-white fruiting bodies and a robust potency profile. The name “Casper” is a nod to its ghost-like appearance — soft white caps and stems with occasional bluish bruising reminiscent of the cartoon character.

History & Community Spread
Casper has been shared mostly through underground networks, spore collectors, and microscopy forums. It is not yet as widespread as its A.P.E. or PE relatives, but it has gained recognition among cultivators for its dense fruits, clean effects, and striking aesthetic. Its hybrid lineage provides strong colonization vigor from MakShack, paired with potency and slower fruiting habits inherited from A.P.E.

Appearance & Morphology
Fruiting bodies are pale white to ivory, occasionally showing faint pigment at maturity. Caps remain conical to bell-shaped in early growth and become slightly flattened over time. Stems are thick, dense, and bright white with strong blue bruising at the base or where damaged. While not a true albino, Casper produces dark purple-black spore prints consistent with leucism.

Potency & Effects
Casper is rated HIGH on the Tanasi Potency Scale. Reported effects include clear visuals, euphoric uplift, emotional openness, and a mild to moderate body load. Many describe it as a “feel-good” strain, suited for introspection or calm, creative engagement. Its potency sits just below the extreme levels of true A.P.E. or PE6, making it both powerful and approachable.

Cultivation Notes
Casper colonizes at a moderate pace and typically fruits more slowly due to A.P.E. influence. It performs well on CVG, dung-based blends, and grain substrates. Expect medium to heavy yields with compact, high-density fruits. Sporulation may be low, so tissue culture or cloning is often preferred for preservation. Fruiting conditions are standard cubensis parameters, with moderate humidity and airflow.
