It naturally occurs at elevations of 2,500 to 4,000 meters, where it grows in rocky, nutrient-poor soils. Prized for its striking appearance and rapid growth, it has become a favorite among cactus enthusiasts worldwide.

Physical Description:

• Can grow up to 5–6 meters, with thick, singular columns or small branching stems.
• Notable for its light green coloration and well-defined 4–8 ribs with prominent spines.
• The spines are longer than those of other species, reaching lengths of 3–6 cm, giving the plant a strikingly dramatic look.

Cultivation Requirements:
