 Avery is Albino Cambodian.

Psilocybe cubensis

The Avery’s Albino strain of Psilocybe cubensis is another intriguing variant known for its distinct characteristics and origin. Here are the key points about the Avery’s Albino variety:

1. Origins: Avery’s Albino is named after its developer, a mycologist or enthusiast likely named Avery , or this was a family member. The strain was selectively bred to emphasize its unique leucistic (albino-like) traits.
2. Appearance: True to its name, Avery’s Albino mushrooms exhibit a strikingly pale or white appearance due to a significant reduction in pigmentation. This leucistic quality gives the strain an ethereal, almost ghostly look.
3. Leucistic Traits: Similar to other so-called “albino” strains, Avery’s Albino is not truly albino but leucistic, meaning it has reduced pigmentation but still retains some color under certain conditions. The caps and stems are generally white or very light in color.
4. Growth Characteristics:
• Cultivation: Avery’s Albino is appreciated for being relatively easy to cultivate, making it a good choice for both novice and experienced growers. It tends to have a consistent and reliable growth pattern.
• Fruiting Bodies: The mushrooms are typically of moderate size, with thick, sturdy stems and caps that can vary in shape but are often dome-like.
5. Potency: While the specific potency of Avery’s Albino can vary, it is generally considered to be on par with other Psilocybe cubensis strains. It is known for providing a potent and balanced psychoactive experience.
6. Popularity: Avery’s Albino has gained popularity in the mycology community due to its unique appearance and reliable cultivation characteristics. It is often sought after by those looking to grow visually distinct mushrooms.

Avery’s Albino is a well-regarded variety of Psilocybe cubensis, known for its beautiful leucistic appearance and consistent growth. Its development showcases the dedication and innovation of mycologists and mushroom enthusiasts in creating unique and appealing strains.

Just waiting for the pinning now.

Avery seemed to inoculate around 7 days. This is my second attempt after a failed first, but have someone kind of guiding me through this round. Just got off methadone and would like to try to kick the SSRI's next. I'm sure these will help. Can't wait for them to start popping up! Thanks!
